Great Dickies Prouduct

Material is great, looks a little bit dressy. I work in the office at a manufacturing plant, so I walk around the plant but need to sit in meetings too. These would be perfect, tough fabric but professional.Unfortunately, just not cut for me. I ordered these in a 16Short and an 18 Short. In both sizes the thighs fit but the rise over the backside was too short. Like there was not enough material to come up from the crotch and cover my butt, I think if I had a smaller backside these would be great Dickies 65% Polyester | Work 35% Cotton Pants The 18S also gapped a lot at the waist.
I am 5'3" and the length was a bit long if I had on flats but would be just fine if I was in work boots

Workhorse Pants

I am 5.4 tall, 110 lb, hips 35, waist 25. Size 2 was a right guess. Slightly long shoeless which is compensated when worn with work slip resistant shoes.
There is an extra inch at the waist line (? They are if rose for me) for comfort squatting. Much nicer with leather belt. I do not plan to iron them, only use a steamer because fabric has syntetic content so would not get iron gloss on them.

I successfully graduated working at the grocery store. This was my first item to trhow away before even walking away (jk). The Dickies 65% Polyester | Work 35% Cotton Pants would loose the shape color and visual appeal in just couple washes. In fact they look like a garbage bag after the first wash. In order to look presentable I had to iron them with the corn stratch sprayer. If you for at the front end and don't get exposed to foods, cleaning supplies - they might last. If not - well they are thick and synthetic and protect your legs from hitting randon corners and boxes. Other then that, they are not the best. Those pantalones did last me a year at albertsons but I they also ugly and barely grey after all the washes.

Good work Dickies Pants

I am 5’9” and weigh 175. I normally wear an 11/12 Tall pant, but was concerned with shrinkage, so I ordered a size 14 Tall. When they came in, they were HUGE, but I opted to not return them and hoped they’d shrink in the wash. Voila! Wish granted! They shrank enough that the hips are perfect - not too tight and not too loose. The waist is still about 5”-6” too big, but there are enough belt loops that once I put my belt on the gap was closed and the bunching is minimal and barely noticeable.

The waist is not contoured like a woman’s body; it is straight and that’s probably why the hips fit and the waist is too big. If you are not curvy, they may fit you better. I have bigger hips and a smaller waist, so there’s quite a bit of discrepancy. I did not notice any shrinkage in length. I also did not need to iron the pants and the material is very sturdy yet, flexible. If you are not at least 5’9” I would not recommend the Tall length. I like my Dickies 65% Polyester | Work 35% Cotton Pants slightly longer because I wear them with work/tactical boots, so the length is perfect. If I was wearing them with dress shoes they would be too long. I will be purchasing more of these.

Love Amazon Dickies Pants

I love these Dickies 65% Polyester | Work 35% Cotton Pants. I love them so much, I decided to get some Dickies in a slim fit for daily use. The leg holes in this pair are large enough to fit over a pair of boots shaped like Uggs. They cover the boot smoothly and without looking bulky. I ordered a size 14 which is usually my size in regular stretchy jeans. I could have ordered a 16 if I wanted a little room in the waist (I am 5'9" and about 190) but I think I will just lose a couple pounds and make it work.

It is only the absence of stretchy material that makes the 14 a wee bit tight. The crotch seems a tiny bit shorter than my usual pants, so if you have a longer measurement in that area, maybe buy one size up. They make my butt look GREAT. I didn't have the shrinking problem described by others. I washed the Dickies 65% Polyester | Work 35% Cotton Pants and put them on when they were still warm from the dryer, causing them to form very nicely to my figure. A cute pair of slim-fit Dickies are going to kick some serious butt in Colorado winter weather when I am taking out trash and chasing down dogs.Dickies 65% Polyester Work 35% Cotton Pants...
